The Taylor T5z Pro is a stunning looking, top tier, hybrid acoustic electric, and a highly versatile guitar made by one of the worlds most respected guitar makers.   

Taylor has a legacy of crafting some of the finest acoustic contemporary acoustic guitars available today. This instrument combines that, with discreet electric guitar attributes to make it an extremely versatile instrument.

This T5z Pro sports three pickups. An internal acoustic sensor, a visible hum bucking bridge pickup and a discreet, under top neck hum bucking pickup. These are controlled by a 5 way switch on the top side, and three small dials (volume, bass and treble) on the top. The hollow construction of this instrument gives decent natural acoustic projection without being plugged in. This 2017 model features two f holes and top mounted tone and volume. Later Pro models have one F hole, and volume and tone controls on the lower bout.

The acoustic sound of this instrument is pure, clear and high fidelity. While traditional acoustics struggle with feedback and pickup placement issues, the Taylor T5z Pro was designed around the pickup platform for the best possible sonic outcome. As well as having stellar acoustic tones, the bridge pickup has a bright, almost tele like twang, without the hum. The neck pickup, while also being a hum bucker, has, in the default tonal position, a clear, single coil-esque tone. This can be warmed up to make this instrument a modern hybrid jazz box. 

The lightweight urban ash body and Neo-Topical Mahogany neck are finished in a subtle yet highly durable UV coated poly based finish in high gloss. The dark molasses sunburst showcases a striking, deep quilted maple top. Jumbo frets sit on a AAA ebony fretboard. 

This guitar is in almost new condition, and shows virtually no visible signs of play wear.
