This stunning Johnny Marr Jaguar in the limited run of Lake Placid Blue is modeled on Johnny’s vintage 1965 Fender Jaguar. Using his customised ’65 Jag as a template, Fender sought about designing the perfect instrument for the UK rock and roll icon. 

This model features a set of Bear Knuckle custom wound Johnny Marr signature pickups which are based on a 1962 Fender Jag. The neck is a slightly chunky C, which gives this guitar a very vintage feel. It has a slab, 1962 style rosewood fretboard and medium jumbo frets. The vibrato system has been upgraded and features a nylon bushing, which gives precise control over pitch modulation. This guitar also features a Mustang style bridge, which Johnny Marr prefers for its precise string separation, intonation and more streamlined design.

This guitar presents as near new, with a couple of small chips in the clear coat around the lower waist where the guitar rests on your leg. These can be seen in photos of the back of the instrument. The chrome is all in great shape and all the electronics and moving parts function exactly as they ought to. 

This guitar comes with its original hard shell case and a litany of case candy: a guitar strap, lead, and various pieces of documentation.

A tremendously well thought out Jag from one of the greats.
