Fretboard Jungle take pride in offering an easy, hassle free and professional and platform to consign your vintage instrument.

Located in Sydney's Inner West, simply drop off or deliver your instrument to us, and we'll take care of the rest! There is no payment required. Once we have sold your instrument, Fretboard Jungle will deduct 18% for our efforts and pay you the balance.

Once an instrument has been received by us, we will thoroughly examine the condition of the instrument and research an appropriate listing price. If a listing price is mutually agreed upon, we will create a listing with professional photographs, detailed description and a often a video for YouTube. Stolen, fraudulent or misleading consignment items cannot be listed by this business.

A commission rate of 18% of the purchase price is processed upon sale of the items. This covers storage, professional photography, detailed descriptions, handling, inquiries, domestic shipping, and, on occasion, a demonstration of the item on our YouTube channel. Minimum fee for each consignment sold is $250 aka 18% of $1389.

The consignment agreement is for 6 months. You are encouraged to share the Item/Items using our links and photographs, however the sale will be exclusively handled by Fretboard Jungle.

Items are stored in a secure facility with alarms and CCTV monitoring, and they are insured during their stay (coverage included in the consignment fee). For added peace of mind, consider securing your own insurance policy. You may also be interested in registering ownership of your instrument on the Australian Government's Personal Property Securities Register https://www.ppsr.gov.au/.

If an item hasn't sold within 2 months, we may suggest a discounted price to attract more interest. Our standard consignment period is 6 months, during which we exclusively manage the sale. If your item hasn't sold by the end of this period, you have the option to renew or retrieve it.

Payments are processed directly into your designated bank account within 7 days after a brief 7-day cooling off period post-receipt of the item(s). For detailed terms and conditions, please refer to our full policy here.
