We’re big fans of Andrew Taylor Custom and the fabulous one off guitars that have come out of his workshop in the last few years, and this is no exception. 

This stunning telecaster style instrument in a subtle shoreline gold hits all the right buttons. With its curly maple neck, bound rosewood fretboard, contoured body, 3 ply pick guard, bigsby trem and bound mahogany with maple cap, this guitar is a classy looking instrument. Add to that a set of Joe Barden Danny Gatton noiseless pickups and you have an instrument that not only looks great but sounds exceptional. 

Most telecasters have a pretty flat neck angle. As it is natural to hold the neck just a little further back. This, combined with the hard edges make the telecaster a bit of an ergonomic problem for some players. Both of these issues have been addressed with this instrument. With a comfortable 3 degree neck angle and belly contour, this instrument conforms to you as a player and makes for an effortless playing experience. 

Built in 2017, this guitar has been kept in the possession of its maker for the past 8 years and presents as near new with virtually no blemishes to be seen. The frets are in great shape as is the finish and the hardware. This guitar was originally intended to be sunburst, but due to a defect in the maple cap the decision was made to give it this unique shoreline gold colour, and we’re pretty impressed with the results!

Its hard to mention great tele pickers without Danny Gatton coming up. This guitar has a pair of his signature Joe Barden hum cancelling pickups. They are wonderfully versatile - having expanded fidelity and increased harmonic content than a standard tele pickup, they can get real jazzy when the tone is rolled off, but open them up and they have all the spank and twang of a great set of tele single coils. 

You would be hard pressed to find another guitar of this caliber for the same price. Stand out from the crowd, both visually and sonically with this beautiful Shoreline Caster.
