The Vibrolux. The perfect working mans amp? Quite possibly. An amp like this combines that classic 60s Fender clean tone, with switchable reverb and tremolo, in a powerful but portable 35 watt 2 x 10 combo. Light enough to lug from gig to gig, and loud enough to compete with some of the most enthusiastic rhythm sections.

This amp is super clean and original. While there is evidence of servicing in the chassis, this amp is lucky to be sporting an almost full set of vintage RCA tubes and two perfectly functioning vintage Oxford 10” speakers. These are some highly prized speakers, known for their crisp and glassy tones, tight bass response and scooped midrange, giving this amp that wonderful 60s Fender sparkle.

Potentiometer and transformer dates on this amp range from late 1968 to early 1969. This “drip edge” design is generally associated with 1968, and was phased out not long after this amp was made.

This amp has been used primarily for jazz guitar throughout most of its life. As such it hasn’t been pushed too hard. While its been played, it certainly has been operated well within safe levels.

This amp is wired to run using Australian power and does not need an external transformer. Just plug in and enjoy one of the nicest vintage Fender tones money can buy!
