This 2022 Furch Blue Gc-CM features an all solid wood construction, combining a solid Western Red Cedar top with Solid African Mahogany back and sides. Built in a grand auditorium body with Venetian cutaway, finished in Furch’s ultra thin open pore satin finish, this guitar delivers a warm, resonant tone with mid range clarity. 

At a wide 55mm string spacing at the bridge, this guitar is well suited to both finger style and strumming. Its wide 45mm nut width provide ample room for single note articulation. 

This is a lightly constructed guitar and does feature some belly bulge, however the string action is within spec and this guitar is comfortable to play. This is a commonly observed aspect of many great sounding, lightly constructed acoustic guitars. 

This guitar also features Furch's CNR truss rod system. This system consists of an adjustable truss rod placed inside a carbon casing. Combined with a high-precision manufacturing process, the innovative design translates into unparalleled stability of the neck joint and the neck along its entire length as well as supreme accuracy of neck relief adjustment. Because it is very rigid, the neck joint of Furch guitars does not need heavy reinforcements, which makes it much lighter than traditional designs. In addition, the absence of reinforcing components allows a larger area of the soundboard to resonate freely and produce better sound. All parts of the Furch CNR System are invisibly integrated into the neck.

Sporting an L.R. Baggs Element Stage Pro, this guitar has great tonal capabilities both in the studio and on stage, delivering big, loud acoustic tones that are well represented in L.R. Baggs’ piezo system.
