Gretsch Country Club 6196CG - Cadillac Green - 2004
Gretsch Country Club 6196CG - Cadillac Green - 2004
Its good to make a statement - especially when you're on stage. Playing a 17" wide sparkly green Gretsch Country Club does exactly that. This stunning Cadillac Green archtop with gold plated hardware is one classy way to capture the attention of the audience. The sparkly, big sounds coming from the Dynasonic pickups cut through the mix in an impressive way - imagine the power of a P90 with the clarity of a Telecaster. For the right guitarist, this really is a best of both worlds type scenario.
As an answer to Gibson's L5 archtop, this Country Club features many of the same structural designs, including a fully hollow, parallel braced top. This guitar has been enhanced for stage use with a wooden sound brace installed underneath the bridge, connecting the top with the back - doing a very effective job in eliminating much of the feedback that archtops are often known for.
This guitar has also been fitted with a bigsby tremolo at some point, in place of the standard G brand tail piece. This is an excellent guitar that works very well in loud scenarios and looks just as good as it sounds!
